Cosmo will open his 2008 season in the Spirit of Daytona Porsche-powered FABCAR co-driving with Marc-Antoine Camirand and Michael McDowell.

2007 Made three KONI Challenge podium appearances running a limited schedule, including bolstering his win tally in the category with a win at Iowa. Was also called to duty by both Doran Racing and Brumos in Rolex Sports Car Series competition and returned the favor with a pair of top-tens before joining Spirit of Daytona to be a part of the development team for the new Porsche-powered FABCAR.

2006 Made nine starts in the Rolex Series, earning a best result of second in the nine-hour season finale at Miller Motorsports Park. Started from the pole position at VIR for the first time in his Rolex Series career owing to co-driver Michael McDowell’s victory in the qualifying race.

2005 Made nine KONI Challenge Series starts, placing a season-best fifth overall at Daytona to open the season.

2004 Made one Rolex Series start, earning a 8th place class result. Competed in full KONI Challenge season, finishing 17th in the championship with a best finish of second in the GS class.

2003 Made five Rolex Series Daytona Prototype starts, taking a best result of third. Made three KONI Challenge Series STI starts, taking victories in back-to-back events at Mont-Tremblant and Virginia International Raceway.

2002 Star Mazda North American champion with four wins and two poles.

2001 Four street circuit starts in CART Toyota Atlantic.

2000 Scandinavian Formula 2000 championship runner-up.

FAST FACTS: Camirand will compete in selected Rolex Series races in 2008.

Career highlights: 2007 Raced at Lime Rock Park in KONI Challenge competition and finished the Rolex Sports Car Series season with a fifteenth place finish in the season finale at Miller Motorsports Park in the debut run for the Spirit of Daytona Porsche-powered FABCAR.

2006 Drove in three Daytona Prototype races, with a best finish of 17th at Miller Motorsports Park. Also made starts at Mid-Ohio and Daytona. Scored Grand-Am Cup overall victory in hometown Trois-Rivieres.

2005 Made seven Rolex Series starts in the Daytona Prototype class, earning a best result of eight at Mont-Tremblant. Also made eight starts in Grand-Am Cup Series GS class with a best result of seventh at Daytona. Earned GTO and Touring Car victories at Grand Prix de Trois-Rivieres.

2004 Finished third in the SGS class in lone Rolex Series appearance at Mont-Tremblant. Earned Hankook Tire Touring Car victory at Molson Indy Montreal. Won GTO/GTU race at Grand Prix de Trois-Rivieres.

2003 Finished eighth in Fran-Am championship with victory at Watkins Glen.

2002 Competed in Fran-Am event at Molson Indy Montreal. Test driver of BMW Z3 in SPEED World Challenge.

Michael McDowell

FAST FACTS: McDowell will return to Rolex Sports Car Series competition in 2008, co-driving the Spirit of Daytona Porche-powered FABCAR in the Rolex 24 At Daytona.

2007 Runner up in ARCA Driver Championship, took four wins and rookie of the year honors as he battled to final round with Frank Kimmel and was signed to Michael Waltrip Motorsports. McDowell joined 2000 NASCAR Cup champion Bobby Labonte, Michael Valiante and team owner Rob Finlay in the No. 19 Finlay Motorsports Ford Crawford in the Rolex 24 At Daytona.

2006 Finished eighth in the final Daytona Prototype driver standings with 11 top-10 finishes. Scored first-ever qualifying race victory at Virginia.

2005 Made 13 Rolex Series starts, capped by an overall victory in La Gran Final de la Serie Sports Car in Mexico City. Also made two Champ Car starts

2004 Star Mazda North American Champion with seven victories and six pole positions.
